1991年マンガ家デビュー。
「目玉焼きの黄身 いつつぶす？」（KADOKAWA）は2014年NHKでアニメ化し、2017年にはMBS系列で実写ドラマ化された。2023年からは『月刊コミックビーム』（KADOKAWA）に「レコード大好き小学生カケル」を連載中。2013年に京都精華大学マンガ学部・特任講師に就任し、現在は新世代マンガコース教授を務める ▶https://twitter.com/gooohinata
《かとうれい子》
2004年作詞作曲家たきのえいじ氏と出会い、以後師事する。2009年11月に徳間ジャパンコミュニケーションズよりデビュー。昭和歌謡、童謡唱歌の美しい日本語の歌詞と瑞々しいメロディを若い世代を含め一人でも多くの人に伝えることが出来ればと定期的にライブをしている。そして、声の周波数で神経にいい刺激を与えられると信じて歌の宅配便（ご自宅・施設に訪問して歌を届ける）に取り組んでいる。

Debuted as a manga artist in 1991.
"How do you kill the yolk of a fried egg?" (KADOKAWA) was made into an anime by NHK in 2014, and was made into a live-action drama by MBS in 2017. From 2023, "Record Crazy Kid KAKERU” will be serialized in "Comic Beam" (KADOKAWA). In 2013, he became a specially appointed lecturer at Kyoto Seika University's Manga Department, and currently serves as a professor in the New Generation Manga Course ▶ https://twitter.com/gooohinata
《Reiko Kato》
In 2004, he met lyricist Eiji Takino and has since studied under him. Debuted from Tokuma Japan Communications in November 2009. We believe that the beautiful Japanese lyrics and fresh melodies of Showa songs and children's songs can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, including the younger generation, and that the frequencies of voices can provide good stimulation to the nerves. Suitable for visiting and hearing.

レコードが好きすぎるマンガ家・おおひなたごうによるレコード愛に溢れるマンガ『レコード大好き小学生カケル』（月刊コミックビーム連載中）のテーマソング第二弾！
今作は、レコードが大好きな小学生・主人公のカケルのクラスメートで、カケルの影響でレコードに触れたガキ大将・デス夫のイメージソング。レコードの魅力に気づき、「レコードのことをもっと教えてほしい！」というデス夫の心の叫びが歌になっている。かとうれい子の押さえたドスの効いたボーカルに、ピアノやサックスを大胆に使用した杉本バッハによるゴージャスなアレンジが聴きどころ。B面『嫌いじゃないぞ★ブギ』は、カケルの担任でありレコード部の顧問である”肯定先生”のテーマソング。作詞は、今回もマンガの作者であるおおひなたごうが担当。レコード愛あふれる楽曲に、キャラクターたちの個性がぎっしり詰まった作品が完成。

"Death Man's Blues" - The Second Theme Song from "Record Crazy Kid KAKERU”
The second single from the hit record manga "Record Crazy Kid KAKERU”
is here! Following "Kakeru’s Theme," released on RECORD STORE DAY 2024, the new single "Death Man's Blues" is now available on a 7-inch vinyl record.
This song is the image theme for Desuo, a bossy kid in Kakeru’s class who, influenced by Kakeru, discovers the charm of vinyl records. The song expresses Desuo’s heartfelt plea: “Teach me more about records!” It features Reiko Kato’s deep, soulful vocals and Sugimoto Bach’s bold arrangement with piano and saxophone.
The B-side track, "Not Bad★Boogie" is the theme song for Mr. Koutei（mean;Affirmation) Kakeru’s teacher and advisor to the Record Club. Both songs feature lyrics by Go Oohinata, the creator of the manga.
These tracks are full of love for records and showcase the unique personalities of the characters.
