She has collaborated with numerous artists both domestically and internationally and works across various fields, including composing for films and leading the neo-doo-wop band Jinatana & Emeralds.

A solo project by Jack Tatum, Wild Nothing debuted in 2010 with the album Gemini, which was named one of Pitchfork’s best albums of the year. The follow-up album, Nocturne (2012), was also highly acclaimed, making year-end best-of lists from outlets such as iTunes, Under the Radar, Obscure Sound, Urban Outfitters, and The 405. Tatum is also known for co-writing Japanese Breakfast's smash hit single "Be Sweet."
