TESTSET (砂原良徳×LEO今井×白根賢一×永井聖一)
2021年夏、高橋幸宏率いるバンドMETAFIVEのメンバーであった砂原良徳とLEO今井が、特別編成としてGREAT3の白根賢一（Dr）と相対性理論の永井聖一（Gr）を迎え、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ‘21に4人で出演したことから誕生し、2022年より、グループ名を新たにTESTSET（テストセット）と冠してライブ活動を開始。これまでアルバムを1枚、配信EP2枚をリリースしている。
唯一無二と称されるマシンビートとロックサウンドの融合を基盤にした音楽性と、無機質でありながらもエネルギッシュでスタイリッシュなサウンドが特徴。ライブに関しては、結成後3年間でFUJI ROCK FESTIVAL、SONICMANIA、朝霧JAMをはじめ、国外では中国の2本のフェスなど多数の大型フェスやイベントに出演。
ステージ上の4人がレコーディング音源を新たに構築し、自由に深化させ体現する圧倒的な音像と、ステージ背面のLEDやプロジェクターによって映し出される映像演出で更なる没入感を生み出すライブパフォーマンスは、多くのロック、エレクトロミュージック、クラブミュージックファンを魅了する。

TESTSET (Yoshinori Sunahara × LEO Imai × Kenichi Shirane × Seiichi Nagai)
Summer 2021, Yoshinori Sunahara and LEO Imai, members of the band METAFIVE led by Yukihiro Takahashi, formed a special lineup with Kenichi Shirane (Dr) of GREAT3 and Seiichi Nagai (Gr) of Theory of Relativity. They performed as a quartet at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '21, leading to the birth of the group. Starting in 2022, they began live activities under the new group name TESTSET. They have released one album and two digital EPs to date.
Their music is characterized by a unique fusion of machine beats and rock sound, creating an inorganic yet energetic and stylish sound. Regarding live performances, within three years of formation, they have appeared at numerous major festivals and events including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, SONICMANIA, Asagiri JAM, and two festivals in China.
Their live performances captivate audiences by creating an overwhelming sonic landscape where the four members on stage freely reconstruct and deepen the recorded material, combined with immersive visual projections on the stage's LED screens and projectors. This draws in fans of rock, electronic music, and club music alike.

TESTSET was born when Yoshitoku Sunahara and LEO Imai, former members of the supergroup METAFIVE (conceived by Yukihiro Takahashi in 2021), formed a special lineup with Kenichi Shirane (Dr.) of GREAT3 and Seiichi Nagai (Gt.) of Theory of Relativity. The quartet debuted at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '21. This second album maintains the robust groove cultivated in their previous work while presenting an ambitious effort where each member's individuality shines through within a streamlined, simple structure. Through meticulous sound design and organic propulsion, each track offers distinct expressions and shifting landscapes. True to its title, ideas dissolve like mist, fusing 80s new wave, 90s techno, and post-00s sophistication. It's a contemporary alternative work where maturity and experimental spirit coexist.
