“都会の夜の帳を舞台に、ノスタルジーな音楽を手がける” をコンセプトに、80～90年代の邦・洋楽の名曲群をカヴァーするプロジェクトとして、2019年夏に活動をスタートした Tokimeki Records が、待望の全曲オリジナル曲による1stアルバムをリリース!!
亜蘭和子『浮遊空間』など在りし日のシティポップを思わせるメロウかつダンサブルな80'sシンセ・ブギー・サウンドなトラックに対して、ヴォーカリストにネオ・ソウルバンド、Mime のシンガー、ひかり を全編にわたりフィーチャー。
ある種ノスタルジック/ヴェイパーウェイヴ的ともいえるトラックに力強い現行ソウルのエッセンスが融合し、懐かしくも新しいサウンドを獲得している。
タイトルトラックの 「透明なガール」 を筆頭に、本作に収録された楽曲が新時代のフロアクラシックになることは想像に難くない。

Information

Based on the concept of "making nostalgic music set in the dark night of the city", this project covers famous Japanese and Western music from the 80's and 90's. Tokimeki Records, which started activities in the summer of 2019, will release the long-awaited 1st album with all original songs!!
For the mellow and danceable 80's synth boogie sound tracks such as Kazuko Aran's "Floating Space", reminiscent of the city pop of the past, Featuring Hikari, the singer of the neo-soul band Mime, as a vocalist throughout.
The nostalgic/vaporwave track fuses with the powerful essence of current soul to create a nostalgic yet new sound.
Starting with the title track "Toumei na Girl", it's not hard to imagine that the songs recorded in this work will become floor classics for a new era.
Delight in the appearance of a masterpiece that should be remembered as a new masterpiece of current city pop!
