THE FUZZ ACTは三人組ロックバンド。徳永駿介(Vo&Gt)、加藤慎也(Ba)、森園竣(Dr)で構成される。2010年頃結成。これまで5枚の自主制作盤、3枚のアルバムをリリース。
2019年頃に現体制となる。歌を中心に置きながら、往年のロックミュージックを彷彿とさせるバンドアンサンブル、熱量のあるパフォーマンスで話題を集めている。

THE FUZZ ACT現体制初となる10曲入りフルアルバムがアナログリリース。プロデュースに音楽ライター、プロデューサーである岩田由記夫氏、サウンドプロデューサーにギタリストの菊池琢己氏(頭脳警察など)を起用。グランジを匂わせる歪んだギターサウンドから、スライドギターやアコースティックギターが映えるバラード曲まで幅広く揃っている。シタールやジャンベなど参加楽器もバラエティ豊かで楽曲に彩りを添える。
リズムセクションとバッキングギターはほぼ一発録りでバンドの勢いが生々しく音に表れている。歌詞と、迫力あるシャウトと繊細さを使い分けるボーカルにも注目してほしい。
Information
THE FUZZ ACT's first full-length album with 10 songs. The album was produced by music writer and producer Yukio Iwata and sound produced by guitarist Takumi Kikuchi (Brain Police, etc.). The album features a wide range of songs from distorted guitar sounds with a hint of grunge to ballads featuring slide guitar and acoustic guitar. A wide variety of instruments, such as sitar and djembe, add color to the songs.
The rhythm section and backing guitars were recorded almost exclusively in one take, giving the band's energy a vivid expression in the sound. The lyrics and the vocals, which are both powerful shouts and delicate, are also noteworthy.
