音楽作家。1983年生まれ、千葉県四街道市在住。2006年にRallye LabelよりCDデビュー。生楽器の演奏とプログラミングを織り交ぜた、有機的な電子音楽の制作を得意とする。最新作は2024年リリースの「Beta 2」。ライブ演奏では即興での多重録音によるパフォーマンスを行う。WORLD HAPPINESS、FUJI ROCK FESTIVALなどにも出演。近年はBGM演奏という形の活動をメインに、全国の美術館、図書館または書店など、様々な場所で演奏をしている。自身の活動以外では、映画「岬のマヨイガ」(監督：川面真也 / CV：芦田愛菜ほか / 原作：柏葉幸子)、映画「リトル・フォレスト」(監督：森淳一 / 出演：橋本愛ほか / 原作：五十嵐大介)などの映画音楽をはじめ、NHK・Eテレ「あおきいろ」、「Ｑ～こどものための哲学」や、ドラマ・舞台・CMなどの音楽、公共施設や店舗などでの空間のための音楽制作など、様々な形で制作・提供を行っている。KENJI KIHARAとの「BGM LAB.」などでも活動中。

Composer/Musician. Born in 1983. Based in Yotsukaido, Chiba, Japan. He made his CD debut with Rallye Label in 2006. He has released seven albums. The latest album is "Beta 2" (2024). He specializes in organic electronic music that interweaves instrumental performance and programming. His live performances include improvised multi-recordings. In recent years, he has been performing mainly in the form of background music at various places such as bookstores, museums, and libraries throughout Japan. In addition to his own activities, he has composed music for films such as “Misaki no Mayoiga" (Director: Shinya Kawatsura, CV: Mana Ashida, etc., Original Story: Sachiko Kashiwaba), "Little Forest" (Director: Junichi Mori, Cast: Ai Hashimoto, etc., Original Story: Daisuke Igarashi), as well as for NHK E-television's "Aokiiro" ,"Q - Philosophy for Children," as well as for TV programs, dramas, commercials, and BGM for stores. He is also active in the music project "BGM LAB." with KENJI KIHARA.

2024年に配信でリリースした8枚目となるアルバム作品「Beta 2」をアナログ版でリリース。前作「Beta」で取り入れた自身の演奏や音楽をリサンプリングして制作する手法をさらに深めるように、フラットに様々な角度から再挑戦した作品。前作で体験した、音楽として仕上げ切らないことで残せる柔軟性や余白を体で感じながら、さらなる実験的なアプローチを模索するなかで音楽制作の楽しさを再発見しながら制作。マスタリングはこれまでの作品でも信頼してお願いしてしていた阿部利幸。今作もアートワークは公私共に関係の深い、彫刻家・土屋裕介。オリジナルの彫刻作品を制作、撮影も担当している。
Information
"Beta 2," released digitally in 2024, is being released on vinyl. In his previous work, "Beta," he pursued the technique of resampling his own performances and music to create his work. This is a work that he attempted again in search of better expression from various angles. He created this work while feeling the flexibility and space that can be left by not over-developing the music, which he experienced in his previous work, and rediscovering the joy of composing while searching for a more experimental approach. The mastering for the record was done by Toshiyuki Abe, who has been trusted in his previous works. The artwork for this work was once again created by sculptor Yusuke Tsuchiya, with whom he has a close relationship both professionally and privately. He created and photographed an original sculpture.
