メンバー：スティーヴ・マリオット(g/vo)、ロニー・レイン(b/vo)、ケニー・ジョーンズ(ds)、イアン・マクレガン(key)。
1965年にデッカ・レコードよりデビュー。R&Bを基調としたサウンドで「シャ・ラ・ラ・ラ・リー」「オール・オア・ナッシング」がヒットし、
そのトレンディな感覚は同時代のザ・フーと共にモッズたちの人気を集めた。
1967年、設立間もない新興レーベル「イミディエイト」と契約。折からのサイケデリック・ムーヴメントの影響もあって音楽性も多彩になり「イチクー・パーク」「涙の少年兵」レイジー・サンデイ」等のヒットを放っていたが、69年にスティーヴ・マリオットが脱退。元ハードのピーター・フランプトンと新バンド「ハンブル・パイ」を結成したため、残りのメンバーたちはジェフ・ベック・グループにいたロッド・スチュアート(vo)とロン・ウッド(g)を迎え、新たにフェイセスとして再出発した。

Members: Steve Marriott (guitar/vocals), Ronnie Lane (bass/vocals), Kenney Jones (drums), Ian McLagan (keyboards). They debuted in 1965 with Decca Records. Their R&B-based sound produced hits like "Sha-La-La-La-Lee" and "All or Nothing," garnering popularity among mods along with contemporaries The Who. In 1967, they signed with the newly established Immediate label. Influenced by the psychedelic movement, their music style diversified, leading to hits like "Itchycoo Park," "Tin Soldier," and "Lazy Sunday." However, in 1969, Steve Marriott left the band to form a new band, Humble Pie, with Peter Frampton. The remaining members regrouped with Rod Stewart (vocals) and Ron Wood (guitar) from the Jeff Beck Group, relaunching themselves as Faces.

Three Small Faces' Japanese LPs will be reissued as limited editions for RSD2025! This reissue will feature the "red vinyl" specification by Toshiba Musical Industries, which first released Small Faces' Japanese LPs. This includes the complete reissue of "Ogden" with the original mono mix and Japan-only cover, known worldwide as a collector's item since its initial release.
